- My parents think we need a band to entertain the
various age groups at our reception.
This is understandable - discos are often linked to
loud, modern music which is of little or no interest to
your older aged guests. However, when you book
FLASHBACKDISCOS.COM we span all the ages and carry a
wide selection of music to enable us to cater to the
various tastes in music which your guests will have.
More than this, we engage with your guests by dressing
professionally and talking with them in an "MC" style,
rather than shouting down a microphone at them.
In fact, people comment frequently that they don't
know how we managed to have everyone up dancing together
and for such a long time ... and yet, they could still
talk. We normally do the full night's
entertainment; but often, when we do come on after
a band, people who have left the hall because the music
was too loud or not to their taste, return.
Don't get us wrong; we have nothing against
bands - but we do against entertainment that does not
treat your very special night in a caring professional
way.
- Why do you not entertain people coming to view you
at weddings ?

- Do you supply playlists ?
Generally, no. However, we always talk in
advance with our couples to see if they have any special
requirements. We select our music based on the
guests in front of us.
- I notice in your brochure that you have signs on
stage. Are these always displayed ?
Yes and this is to highlight the fact to your guests,
that you have booked a professional company to provide
your entertainment - this also dresses our stage very
well.
- What are your Standard, Premium and Platinum
packages ?
Don't be fooled by this - our price includes sound,
lights, selected music, professional dress ware, a radio
microphone and any requests such as, throwing the
Bouquet, etc..
- Do you liaise with the hotel ?
Don't be fooled by this again - hotels are always
willing and anxious to make sure we have everything we
need - thirty seconds talking to a professional Hotel
Manager can sort out anything.
- Do you need a deposit ?
Yes, we do because the service we provide is
not an agency - it is on a booking by calendar
date, which means that when we accept a booking that
date is no longer available to anyone else.
Therefore, if we have no deposit the date is not
secured.
- Will you come on after a specialist band, like a
tribute band ?
Yes - but on a good number of occasions, we start the
evening because we can cater for all tastes in music
before their type. Also, it is usually left to us
to ensure that the Bouquet is thrown, the arches are
done, etc..
